Planned Maintenance Benefits
Your home comfort system accounts for a large portion of your energy expenses each year. Having the system regularly maintained through Mills Heating and Air’s planned maintenance program will help keep your system running efficiently while lowering your bills. Our planned maintenance program is a comprehensive twenty-one-point inspection encompassing the entire system from your thermostat to the air handler to the condensing unit. There is no better time to have it done than early Autumn.
There are many benefits to having planned maintenance performed on your home comfort system. Some benefits include lowering your utility bills, reducing your repair costs, and extending the life of your Home Comfort System. It can also help keep the air clean all year long and ensure the safety of you and your family.
What we do
We test and inspect your system inside and out, checking for proper operation of all components, cleanliness, and lubrication of necessary moving parts. In doing so, we want to make sure that your system is operating efficiently. When it runs at its best, then it doesn’t have to work as hard to cool or heat your home. This, in turn, uses less energy and saves you on your utility bills.
As we do our inspection, we can identify any potential problems and handle them before they become significant issues. Recognizing underperforming components or faulty equipment early may help prevent a larger-scale issue that can affect more of your system. Fix a small problem now before it becomes a much larger and more expensive problem later. So, stay a step ahead of your repairs and make sure you have planned maintenance done regularly.
Planned maintenance can also extend the life of your equipment. If each component of your Home Comfort System performs optimally, it puts less strain on your system. This reduces the chances of a system failure. You don’t want to replace a home comfort system more frequently than you should. It’s a significant investment and deserves the care and upkeep just like any other large investment you make.
Safety Benefits
Your home comfort system does more than just keep your family comfortable. It is also responsible for keeping the air that you breathe clean and safe. Without regular maintenance, your system may be circulating air that is even more polluted than the air outside. Dirty filters and ductwork can contain mold and dust that can circulate throughout your home.
A home comfort system that is not working correctly can also be dangerous to you and your family. Planned maintenance visits can check for leaks, detect potential safety issues, ensure that the system’s built-in safety features are working as designed.
